B2B Research Library Marketing & market research reference

About this library

What this site is, where the material came from, and what is deliberately not published here.

The B2B Research Library is a reference archive on business-to-business marketing and market research method. It publishes short papers, subject notes and method notes. It is not an agency: it sells nothing, quotes nothing and takes no commissions.

Where the material comes from

The domain carried a marketing and market-research site for most of a decade. That site’s article bank — several dozen short papers on B2B marketing, product development, research method and customer measurement — is the part worth keeping, and it is what this library rebuilds. Addresses are preserved so that existing links keep working.

What is not published

Three things from the original site are deliberately absent.

Client identities. The original published project write-ups naming the organisations that commissioned them, and a client list. Neither is reproduced. Project material that survives is rewritten as method notes, with the organisation replaced by a neutral descriptor such as “a UK motor insurer”.

Contact and sales machinery. Quotation requests, call-back forms, fee pages and mailing list sign-ups are gone, along with the phone numbers and staff addresses attached to them. The only contact address is the one in the footer.

Server statistics. The original left web-server usage reports exposed under /admin/. Those contain visitor IP addresses and referrer strings; they are access logs, not content, and they are not republished.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, or an address that used to work no longer does, the footer address reaches the maintainer.
